Community Consultations on Regional Governance Starting January 2020
Motion by Island Lake Chiefs
On November 7, 2019 the Island Lake Chiefs passed a motion to direct the Governance Working Group to proceed with community consultations on regional governance and to begin preparations for a regional assembly to decide on next course of action. See motion below.
In response, The Governance Working Group issued a Letter to the Chiefs of the Island Lake Communities regarding Community Consultations starting in January 2020 and Regional Gathering in Early February, 2020
